On the beginner course most people are riding across the water within the first hour. The course takes place on the beginner cable, which runs back and forth between two masts, and the instructor stands right next to you on the jetty. There are at most four participants in a group.
First you practise the start and stance on the jetty, then everyone takes turns on the water. Most people make it from one end of the cable to the other on their very first try.
Good to know
- Duration 1.5 h, price €59 per person.
- Included: board, wetsuit, helmet and life vest. All you need is swimwear and a towel.
- Minimum age 10, and participants must be able to swim.
- Starts daily at 12, 14 and 16, in July also at 10. Season 6 June–23 August.
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the course.
