The village kota (Lapland hut) stands on the shore of Lake Johku, 600 metres west of Johkula-talo. It has an open fire in the middle, benches for twenty and dry firewood ready. Perfect for grilling sausages, school trips, birthdays or waiting for the northern lights on a winter evening.
- Four-hour slots 10–14, 14–18 and 18–22 all year round.
- Standard price €50 per slot, firewood included.
- Free for residents (Residents collection members).
A gravel path, ploughed in winter, leads to the hut. Park at the beach car park. Put out the fire and take your rubbish with you. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before.
