Meet 60 huskies, hear about a sled dog's daily life and, in puppy season, hold a puppy. Finish with juice and buns by the campfire.
What we do
On a kennel visit you meet the Johku Huskies dogs and learn how a sled dog lives, from feeding to training. We walk round the dog yards with a guide, and you can pet the dogs and ask anything. To finish we sit by the fire in a Lappish hut with hot juice and cinnamon buns.
Puppy time
In puppy season the visit includes a few minutes in the puppy yard. We usually have 1–2 litters a year, and puppy time is possible when the puppies are about 5–12 weeks old.
